
SOAR PROGRAM
SOAR utilizes a humanities-based curriculum with explicit application to the workplace. Participants begin with an overnight retreat, followed by 8 monthly one-half day meetings. The program concludes with the group organizing a Young Women L.E.A.D conference in their community. This leadership learning lab was developed to allow the participants to practice their newly acquired leadership skills while at the same time “pay it forward” in their communities benefiting high school girls who one day will follow in their footsteps.
A diverse mix of business and industry membership allows for interdisciplinary exposure to new ways of thinking, considering non-traditional alternative approaches to issues and problems, and encourages the cross fertilization of ideas and best practices.
