PARTICIPANT AND PROGRAM SCHEDULE

Program Overview

  • 7 – 17 years in the workforce
  • High potential –  demonstrates a high level of professionalism and performance, exceeding the expectation of the job requirements
  • Individual contributor – repeatedly demonstrates the ability to deliver on individual assignments
  • Emerging manager/team or project leader –  managing people and/or projects with approximately 3-5 years management experience
  • Technical knowledge and experience in their chosen field
  • Desire to lead and take on new challenges
  • Committed to the pursuit of continued learning and growth professionally and personally

Program Schedule

  • Nine meetings over a twelve month period as follows:
    • First meeting is an overnight retreat
    • Followed by eight one-half day meetings from 8:00 AM – 12:30 PM, and
    • Culminating in a philanthropic leadership challenge project, Young Women L.E.A.D, not to exceed beyond the last three months.
  • City meeting locations rotate among SOAR member companies
  • Continental breakfast is provided at each meeting
